Marcus Green, CFO

Chris is without doubt one of the most concise and considered voices around the table. I hold his experience and approach across any project, situation, task or working relationship in high value and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him to any of my contacts.

Nicky Hoyland, CEO

Chris was imperative in advising my business and getting the basics right! His knowledge, commercial acumen and helpfulness was second to none and I will continue to use Parkstone North to grow and push my business forward.

Adam Mobley, MD

Chris was fantastic to work with. He provided challenge to the decision makers, always tried to reduce complexity within processes, and was a strong advocate for the use of data both to ensure effective decisions were being taken, and measure their impact.

James Walker, CFO

Parkstone North was formed to work with business owners and their teams to solve problems and improve overall organisational performance.

“With a career spanning over two decades, I bring a wealth of experience in leadership, strategy, and transformation across professional services, private equity, and industry. Having spent 12 years in a Big 4 accountancy firm, I developed a deep understanding of business operations, leadership dynamics, and complex decision-making. Transitioning into industry in a PE-backed manufacturing business, as Chief Commercial Officer, I played a key role in driving growth and becoming a tech enabled, data driven organisation, achieving a 3.5x return in under four years.

I help senior leaders and business owners unlock growth and navigate complexity – whether that’s through executive coaching, sharpening strategy, or getting under the hood of financials and operations. My background blends board-level advisory, turnaround, and hands-on delivery, so I can support at both the thinking and doing level – from planning to implementation.”

Our Approach

“Look, listen and learn”

Every business is different, because everybody is different; the way things are done, the way we communicate, what we sell and how we sell it. At Parkstone North we provide specific guidance based on understanding each individual business we work with.

We are flexible in our approach, but fundamentally we want to work with those individuals that are responsible for the challenge at hand, educating where we can and providing the means to succeed in the future. This collaborative approach should provide a positive, rewarding experience and not just feel like a transaction. No matter the challenge, there are four main areas to consider:

1. People

The most important part. People are an organisation’s biggest asset but often if mismanaged or misdirected, can be its biggest liability. Key areas to look at are structure, culture, communications, capability and performance management.

2. Products

What is being sold, why people buy it, who else is selling it (or something similar) and how it could be improved.

3. Processes

Fundamental to making the business as efficient as possible as well as ensuring quality and legal criteria are consistently met and monitored. This includes the systems we use to do things and how that is documented so processes can be repeated and performed.

4. Performance

To really succeed, it is essential a business moves away from making decisions on a “feels like” basis to a data driven, evidence basis to ensure everyone is making more of the right choices. How can we better use our historic data to predict our future prospects and present this in a meaningful way.

EXECUTIVE COACHING

Confident. Challenging. Transformational.

Executive coaching is a powerful, one-to-one development process designed to help senior leaders think more clearly, act more decisively, and lead more effectively.

Whether you’re stepping into a bigger role, navigating complex change, or simply want time to reflect and grow—coaching creates the space to work through your toughest challenges and unlock your potential.

Through coaching, you can:

  • Clarify your goals and sharpen your strategic thinking.
  • Build confidence and resilience in high-pressure environments.
  • Strengthen relationships with teams, boards, or stakeholders.
  • Develop a leadership style that feels authentic and impactful.
  • Navigate transitions, growth, or uncertainty with clarity and control.

This is not advice-giving or therapy. Coaching is a confidential partnership focused on your agenda, your growth, and your success. You set the goals—we help you get there.

Sessions are tailored, outcomes-focused, and always grounded in trust, challenge, and support.

“I am an ILM 7 qualified in Executive and Senior Level Coaching and Mentoring and a member of the EMCC. My goal is to help leaders be the best version of themselves and create lasting impact.”
